Ms. Feldman will present on all the basic ins-and-outs of successfully obtaining disability benefits including: the initial application process, what “disability” actually means, appealing at the administrative and district court levels, going back to work, overpayment issues, and more. Blair Feldman graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2011 and has been in private practice since with Tretschok, McNamara, Miller & Feldman since 2012. She is a partner of the firm that specializes in Social Security disability and Workers’ Compensation claims, representing the disabled person and injured worker.

Ms. Feldman handles Social Security claims from their initial application through the Social Security appeal process and in the United States Federal District Court. Throughout her 10 years in practice, Ms. Feldman has handled hundreds of disability matters for children and adults, across all medical areas. She handles cases in both English and Spanish. Ms. Feldman volunteers for the Step Up to Justice Federal Court Clinic in the Social Security section, and has given CLE presentations and seminars to diverse groups including the University of Arizona College of Law, the Pima County Public Defender, the University of Arizona College of Medicine Project FUTRE, and the Arizona U.S. Federal District Court Volunteer Attorney Program on a variety of Social Security disability topics.

Ms. Feldman lives in Tucson, Arizona with her husband, a federal criminal defense attorney, her toddler, and her Airedale terrier, who accompanies her to the office.
